Removable singularities for weighted Bergman spaces

We develop a theory of removable singularities for the weighted Bergman space Aμ(Ω) = {f analytic in Ω : R Ω |f | dμ < ∞}, where μ is a Radon measure on C. The set A is weakly removable for Aμ(Ω \ A) if Aμ(Ω \ A) ⊂ Hol(Ω), and strongly removable for Aμ(Ω \A) if Aμ(Ω \A) = Aμ(Ω). The general theory developed is in many ways similar to the theory of removable singularities for Hardy H spaces, BMO...

Surveys in Differential Geometry XVIII Existence, uniqueness and removable singularities for nonlinear partial differential equations in geometry

This paper surveys some recent results on existence, uniqueness and removable singularities for fully nonlinear differential equations on manifolds. The discussion also treats restriction theorems and the strong Bellman principle.

Removable Singularities for Yang-mills Connections in Higher Dimensions

We prove several removable singularity theorems for singular Yang-Mills connections on bundles over Riemannian manifolds of dimensions greater than four. We obtain the local and global removability of singularities for Yang-Mills connections with L∞ or L n 2 bounds on their curvature tensors, with weaker assumptions in the L∞ case and stronger assumptions in the L n 2 case. With the global gaug...

Desingularization of First Order Linear Difference Systems with Rational Function Coefficients

It is well known that for a first order system of linear difference equationswith rational function coefficients, a solution that is holomorphic in some le‰ half plane can be analytically continued to a meromorphic solution in the whole complex plane. Œe poles stem from the singularities of the rational function coefficients of the system. Just as for differential equations, not all of these si...
